TDC Song Advanced Routing

Business Purpose

In order to be a complete telephony provider, TDC Song’s Swedish subsidiary needed an intelligent routing functionality for their customers’ incoming traffic to freephone
(“800-numbers”) and other non-geographical numbers. By partnering with Inabler, TDC Song could solve their customers’ requirements without large up-front investments.

Using Inabler’s Advanced Routing service, TDC Song get all the routing features they need for attracting customers with high volumes of incoming traffic. Transportation companies, travel agencies, hotel chains as well as sales and support organisations in general can route their incoming traffic in an optimal way. This means much shorter queuing time and less need for people handling incoming calls. In addition, there is less need for voice channels to the customer’s PBX's, since the Advanced Routing service make sure that all calls are sent straight to the available person, without call forwarding by the PBX’s. To summarise, the Advanced Routing service gives better availability and lower costs for TDC Song’s customers, which is an advantage in the competition with other operators.

Network Functionality

All incoming calls to TDC Song’s freephone numbers trigger an IN request. IN tells the switch how to route the calls based on: Time of day, Day of Week, Date, Percentage, Origin number, DTMF etc.
