Customer Description
Nordisk Mobiltelefon is launching a mobile network using the CDMA2000 standard and the 450 MHz band (CDMA450), in Sweden, Norway and Denmark to begin with.
Customer Need
Nordisk Mobiltelefon needed to route their national and SMS traffic correctly in the network, whether the numbers were ported or not. They looked for a provider that was present and already connected to the CRDB's (the database containing information about ported numbers) in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. They needed a supplier that was fast and flexible as their network is built upon the CDMA2000 standard which is rather unusual in Scandinavia. Nordisk Mobiltelefon contacted Inabler and found that we fulfilled their expectations.
Solution
Inabler provides the National Carrier Routing (NCR) service which includes routing for both ported and non-ported numbers, as well as our NP SMS application. The applications are based on the ANSI suite of protocols, including MAP. These services ensure that the correct routing information is given directly for all their calls and SMS traffic.
