Cost Reduction

     

Inabler helps network operators reduce costs in several ways:

   

IN Replace

Over time many operators have bought several IN- and Service platforms from different vendors resulting in substantial support fees and other costs, e.g. related to HW/SW upgrades. On top of this there is the cost of upholding the competence required to maintain the different platforms. Inabler’s solution to this situation could pay itself within a year through cost savings. Our IN Replace concept replaces old IN platforms with Inabler’s iNode, simplifying the network without loss of existing- or limitation of future functionality. Managed Services

Keeping quality in maintaining networks- and services while also keeping up with demands on service development- and deployment can be a real challenge for operators, which ultimately may lead to missed opportunities and reduced revenues.

Inabler has uniquely offered completely managed services for our iNode based applications to operators since start (2001). Managing the services for several different networks has the advantage not just for economies of scale but also for building an unbeatable skills- and experience base, to the benefit of our customers. Call termination costs

Inabler offers several ways of reducing termination costs. The most obvious way is to introduce an All Call Query (ACQ) based NP Routing service, cutting the costs for calls to ported numbers. In addition Inabler’s Global NP services feature information about ported numbers sourced from foreign NP databases (CRDBs). This can be provided as a Global NP Routing product, i.e. including the ACQ application. Alternatively it can be supplied as regular data transfers, refer to Inabler’s Global NP Data product.

Internal  cost policy

Inabler continuously focuses on minimising internal costs, some examples:

  • Platforms and applications are developed in-house which means no external software licenses to be paid for third party software components. In addition both the iNode and the mediaNode platforms are designed and built to be cost efficient overall.
  • Inabler does not have any low skilled technical staff. Each member of Inabler’s OMC and Support team can handle practically all support issues. This leads to high staff satisfaction and minimum staff turn-over (none to date).
  • Inabler takes care to keep internal costs for overhead staff, travelling, accommodation and similar expenses at a minimum.
