Completel - Mobile Number Portability
Customer description
Completel has been operating in France since 2002, with extensive fibre access- and DSL networks. It is now the largest French cable operator.
Customer need
With tightened rules on mobile number portability in France and the introduction of the French CRDB (EGP), Completel needed a cost effective solution for the routing of ported mobile traffic. The default onward routing leads to inefficient routing, high costs and wrong billing of customers.
Solution
Completel chose Inabler’s managed MNP Routing solution. It is based on the iNode platform which acts as a SIP Redirect server. Inabler’s application gives routing information for all mobile traffic, both the ported and non-ported numbers.
The iNode platforms are located at Completel’s premises at redundant sites in Paris and are fully managed remotely by Inabler.
